DESIGNSZENE BERLIN
The online portal designszeneberlin, realised and run by the International Design Centre Berlin (IDZ), was sponsored by the European Structural Fund and by the Berlin Senate Administration for Economy, Technology and Women. It is based on the 2003 project "Designszene Berlin" during which the IDZ made a comprehensive survey on the potential of Berlin designers. More than 1100 companies took part in the initiative.
For the first time this new internet portal gives businesses, media and individuals with an interest in design from Berlin the opportunity to research on the whole Berlin design scene in a professional and comfortable way.
Designers get the chance to present their work to a wider public for free.
