Whatever you buy here, it is not made in dark factories by exploited people in low-wage countries. instead of that you can meet the producers face to face.

The wonderful Markthalle IX or Eisenbahnmarkthalle (market hall) opened 1891 and stayed nearly undamaged trough WW2. But over the last years vanished all the small stalls and discount shops like Aldi, Kik and others occupied the place. The project group "Projektgruppe Markthalle IX", bought the market hall with the intention to revive the place and bring back the ambience of a real market hall.
