DESCRIPTION:A dance/ music/ video performance\nPetter Jacobsson & Thomas C
aley/ Scentrifug\n\n"Petter Jacobsson and Thomas Caley\, the dance duo Sce
ntrifug\, creates a literal No mans land – no lands man when they freely
strut out into aestheticisms’ great wilderness. Is this New York or St
ockholm? It is “dancy”\, installation like\, amusing and inventive. Th
e worn out concept ”research” seems brushed up with an alert grasp."
Margareta Sörenson – Expressen\n\nWith a light touch we explore the hum
an condition at a time when we acted without consciousness\, when our idea
of self\, or lack thereof\, existed in a symbiotic and linear alertness o
f the now\, breathing it in and letting it go. No mans land – no lands m
an lays in the undefined refined middle\, simultaneously focused and unfoc
used\, without history only geography - it is a hovering and peripheral ex
perience rather than intense and ecstatic. \nThe video work for this piec
e is a VJ’d collage\, an animated study of the energy and forces of huma
n expressiveness. The dance and video collaborate light-heartedly to ques
tion and juxtapose our aesthetic norms. \n\n"We do not learn\; and what we
call learning is only a process of recollection" Plato\n\nConcept\, chore
