Projekt Zukunft , a project initiated by the federal state of Berlin and overseen by the Senate Department for Economics, Technology and Women’s advancement, interconnects media, ICT and cultural industries (“creative industries”) and provides links with science, politics and administrative bodies. With its initiatives, projects, Public-Private-Partnerships, events, information campaigns and publications Projekt Zukunft fosters economic and cultural innovation. Linking with political and administrative bodies, this federal initiative optimizes a framework as well as key requirements for economic growth in IT, telecommunications, e-government, cultural industries and more.

The Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce (Industrie- und Handelskammer Berlin) encourages the improvement of institutional and financial conditions for creative industries. In order to counterbalance the shortcomings of small and medium-sized businesses in relation to big corporate companies the Chamber of Industry and Commerce fosters links between industry sectors.
