Description
KlangQuadrat - SoundSquare - is an office for sound and media art in Berlin, founded in 2003 by the producer and musicologist Julia Gerlach and the composer, sound and media artist Georg Klein.
The office works on organisation and productiion of art projects at home and abroad. It stands for contemporary sound art, media art and especially for art in public space.
Cooperations with several institutions and festivals, like
Berliner Festspiele, Goethe-Institute Warsaw, Auswärtiges Amt, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Europäisches Zentrum der Künste Hellerau Dresden, ZKM Karlsruhe, Naturkundemuseum Berlin etc.
