Urania e.V. Berlin Urania Berlin e.V. is a place where new facts and findings from different domains like the natural science (for example medicine or health) and the humanities (for example politics and culture) are presented to the audience. There are different actions like lectures, plays, concerts, seminars, discussions and performances in the Urania. More than 200.000 people take part in the events every year. Furthermore the Urania, as a wellknown arthouse cinema, is the biggest venue during the “Berlinale- Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin”. Urania e.V. Berlin gets no financial institutional support: It is an association with 2500 members and 80 partners.
