Launched in 2014 by founders August & Philip; the O'Donnell team has experienced an exciting trajectory producing high quality wheat-based spirits and liqueurs.
Both men always had a passion for distilling their own alcohol at home and started off by selling their booze to family and friends. It was only during a road trip through the USA that they came across the fascinating story of Moonshine. Instantly gripped by its history, they decided to revive this infamous beverage and bring its legacy to the present day.
By remaining loyal to the old 1920's methodology for Moonshine production, borrowing the name of a notorious bootlegger, and bottling the former illicit drink in traditional Mason Jars; the O'Donnell Moonshine brand was born.
Not only do we incorporate authentic 1920's recipes and original distilling methods, we take particular pride in using only the best ingredients, with no artificial colourings or preservatives. We also ensure that our entire range is completely allergen and gluten free and despite our brand's historic framework, it is very important to us to adhere to modern environmental standards, therefore we use as little plastic as possible throughout our business' supply chain.
