,,in search of" The graduating class 2012 der Neuen Schule für Fotografie Berlin under the guidance of Eva Maria Ocherbauer is exploring creative concepts of fundamental questions. The fast pace of our life and the resulting transient perception is critically questioned, the speed reduced and the active participation of the beholder is demanded. The exhibition "In Search Of" is a lyrical trip into the world of perception. The artistic works explore the relation between individual and object, lead to encounters with the unkown, alien and your own self - sometimes documentary and sometimes artificially arranged . A somnambulistic view, undisguised, naive and full astonishing fascination for the other, that is often closer to us than we would expect. Situations of encounter and confrontation with your own psyche are seen next to humoristic approaches and aesthetic discoveries. Contemplative and fantasy inspiring,the pictures assemble their own stories and revive moments of memories. The exhibition will be accompanied by a catalogue.
