About the role:
Are you passionate about creators (YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Twitter, Vine, Twitch, Instagram, and upcoming platforms)? Do you want to help to nurture and grow the next generation of creators? Are you able to tell what makes great game content, who has potential to be a great creator and what they need to do to succeed? If so, you should apply!
You will help us build a ground-breaking short-form video platform for gaming content. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to work with creators of the future and help craft a product on the intersection of artistic expression and solid engineering.
What you'll do:
Contribute to a community strategy
Help us create and grow a community of video creators
Build & manage strong relationships with content creators
Communicate our vision to the community and funnel their feedback to the company
Organise and run user tests
Manage social media
Manage the community to keep it healthy (moderate, post, etc.)
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, Marketing, Comms, Social Media or similar preferred
Passionate about games, games content and creators
Good understanding of the latest Social Media and Community platform trends
Excellent written and communication skills
Preferred qualifications
Has built a community on Reddit, YouTube, Discord or another platform
May have run a successful blog, podcast, YouTube channel, or newsletter or grown an audience in the past
Experience in managing and growing a healthy community
Video creation and/or editing experience is big plus
