Corona back

New measures and hygiene rules for Berlin cultural institutions

On September 11, 2020, the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe published an update of the the hygiene framework for Berlins cultural institutions.

Ultimately, this is an extension of the previous concept. Among the most fundamental changes are the reduction of the distance between seats in event rooms with fixed mechanical ventilation when the mouth and nose cover is worn permanently, and the approval of deviations from the minimum distance rules within a school class or a KiTa group at events (e.g. guided tours, readings and workshops).

On its website, the Senate Department for Culture and Europe informs about all current decisions and innovations concerning Corona. We also provide information on further protective measures in our article Measures and Hygiene Rules in Berlin for the Reopening of Cinemas, Museums and Places of Play on August 10, 2020.
