Wikimedia tests new platform for use of freely licensed images

If you want to use your own or other people's images under free licenses, you sometimes have to follow complex licensing instructions. Wikimedia Deutschland wants to change that: The new "Curated Commons" project aims to make it easier to find and use images under free licenses on the Internet. The platform is currently being tested.
