Berlin photographer rejects prestigious prize to spark debate on AI

Berlin-based photographer Boris Eldagsen has turned down the prestigious Sony World Photography Award to spark a debate about the role of Artificial Intelligence in photography. His award-winning work, "Pseudomnesia: The Electrician", shows a somber image of two women of different generations standing one behind the other and, according to Eldagsen, was created in part using AI.
