How can companies in the media, creative and digital industries in Berlin and Brandenburg fulfill their important role in climate protection? What does sustainability mean for them? Is the labor market situation developing?
The new medien.barometer 2023/24 now provides information on these questions. For more than half of those surveyed, sustainability is a high priority for the company (54%), primarily due to ecological and social responsibility (92% each). The majority also accept additional costs (55%) or accept them at least in part (28%). Measures such as waste separation (84%), reusable products (75%), energy-saving lights and appliances (75%), avoiding domestic air travel (71%), reducing the heating temperature in winter (66%), using renewable energy (59%) and public transport tickets for employees (56%) are also already being implemented by the majority.
