Description

There are million and one ways to create merchandise on a shoe string budget, and just about anyone of these things can be an avatar for your record. At a time when everything is digital physical products acquire extra value.

This workshop will look at the power of product design in not only restoring the value of recorded music for the end consumer, but also in how it can be the basis of an effective promo strategy. We'll look at inexpensive ways of producing merchandise, novel ways of packaging and presenting records, and most importantly, we'll discuss how to create context for our music and express our core beliefs through design.
