Kulturförderpunkt Berlin (Culture Funding Point) is literally the first point of contact for artists, project initiators associations and players in the independent scene in Berlin if they want to get information about cultural funding and financing. Kulturförderpunkt offers information, with tips and tricks on how to apply for promotional programs, a glossary with technical terms regarding the field of cultural promotion, and answers to frequently asked questions. You can also get an individual consultation for cultural promotion. Kulturförderpunkt is regularly hosting information events on funding-relevant topics and offers network meetings for Berlin’s culture scene.  

For All Creative Industry branches:

Kreativwirtschaftsberatung Berlin is the first address for people working in Berlin's creative industry and who want to benefit from an individual consultation. The aim of Kreativwirtschaftsberatung Berlin is to advise and inform you and to help you connect with other industry players. From start-up to existing businesses – Kreativwirtschaftsberatung is supporting your creative self-employment by providing free-of-charge, face-to-face consultations. In an orientation counselling, your start-up ideas will be shaped and your individual business plan developed. You will also get information about suitable funding offers.

Kreativwirtschaftsberatung Berlin informs also about topics relevant to the industry and latest developments. Furthermore Kreativwirtschaftsberatung hosts events such as workshops and network evenings. The consultation is available to all independent and freelance creatives in Berlin who are to promote and professionalize their self-employment.

Creative Service Center offers consultations and futher education for self-employed creative and cultural workers in the fields of performing and fine arts, music, literature, photography and picture media, digital media and fashion design. The programmes are subject to charge. All artistic freelancers, creative traders, university graduates, college dropouts, unemployed people and creative employees, who are Berlin residents can participate. is a point-of-contact for funders in all creative fields. They support in a praxis oriented way regarding questions about self-employment. The complementary information and consultation offer applies to all stages from business start-up up to consolidation.


Focus Europe

Creative Europe Desk Kultur: is the official contact point for cultural promotion of the EU in Germany. In 37 European countries the national CEDs inform about cultural promotion possibilities provided by the EU and advise European cooperation projects. 

NA-BIBB (National Agency at the Federal Institute for Vocational Training) is managing the financial resources of the EU in the field of vocation. Applications for the ERASMUS+ program can be submitted since 2014. The national agency is also advising for the application procedure and is launching information events. Every country has a national agency, the residence of the petitioner is ruling the responsible agency.

Europa für Bürgerinnen und Bürger (Europe for Citizens) is the official national point-of-contact for the promotional programme of the EU in Germany based in Bonn.

Enterprise Europe Network Berlin-Brandenburg (EEN) informs and advises about innovation-oriented developments, initiatives and programmes of the EU and helps to find business and technology partners. 

Nationale Kontaktstelle Sozial-, Wirtschafts- und Geisteswissenschaften für das Programm Horizont 2020 informs about the EU research program Horizon 2020 and is supporting scientists in all stages of their application: from the classification of the project idea up to the project performance. 


Focus Music:

Music Pool Berlin is the go to place for musicians and people working in the music business, living and working in Berlin. The consultations and workshops offered by expert professionals and key players in the music scene will supply musicians with information, courses in professional development, and network opportunities directly from within the industry. The goal is to help each musician by supplying the tools and information necessary to make a living in the current music business or to professionalize the tools that are already existing. Music Pool Berlin is a cooperation of all2gethernow, noisy Academy and Clubcommission.

Bandbüro Berlin is a project established by the ORWOhaus e.V., funded by Musicboard Berlin. The Bandbüro is supporting young talented bands and helps to connect and promote the network between them and other participants in the field of music and considers itself a central point-of-contact for who wants to support young bands personally, individually and target-oriented.

Berlin Music Commission: (CMB) is the centre for the Berlin music economy. The format Sprechstunde Musik is a coaching and consulting programme and offers interested BMC members and further music companies in Berlin goal oriented support regarding current questions. The focus is on topics such as strategy development for companies, cooperation counseling, promotion consulting, financial management, copyright, process optimization and management.

Focus Theatre & Dance:

Performing Arts Programm of the LAFT Berlin is the central point-of-contact for all artists, production managers and other culture makers in the independent performing arts community. The team provides individual, tailor-made answers to questions that can arise during the various stages of a production process: preparing applications, financing and funding, project development, legal forms, marketing, accounting rules for public funds. They offer culture makers an orientation of the independent venues for dance, theater and performance as well as an overview of Berlin’s diverse independent performing arts community.

Tanzbüro / Tanzraum Berlin considers itself a place of information and counselling for Berlins creatives in the dance industry and people from other cities and countries who are interested. Tanzraum's commitment is about connecting ideas and resources. They promote an improvement of the production conditions in Berlins dance scene.

touring artists is an information programme for artists working internationally. It offers comprehensive information about the topics: Visa and residence, transportation and customs, taxes, social security, other insurances and copyright. The focus of the portal is on the sectors of visual and performing arts. Touring artists shows facts, legal basics and administrative procedures in Germany – for foreign artists, working temporarily in Germany, as well as for German artists who are temporary working abroad. A complementary consulting service is available for individual questions.
