We are looking for (preferably) a native English speaking volunteer for a paid experience who shares a passion for film, an interest in the interaction of culture and human rights with substantial knowledge of Project Management.

Your tasks include:
Draft weekly newsletters which go out to our subscribed members
Conduct research on a variety of global, political affairs
Assist with drafting content for the website
Organise international film screenings and cultural events
The ideal candidate's qualities:
Experience with Mailchimp and Google Drive
Excellent written, verbal and overall communication skills with attention to detail
Excellent teamwork experience, open-mindedness, resourcefulness and creative thinking abilities
Able to deal with clients over the phone, by e-mail and in person on a regular basis
EU working permit and speak fluent English
Helpful but not required:
Additional language skills are valued
Familiarity with Squarespace, WordPress and Plone version 4 or 5 are all greatly appreciated
Familiarity with social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter....)
Experience in Marketing
Graphic Design skills (Photoshop, Adobe illustrator…)
A background in film, human rights or NGO development
This job is full time, Monday-Friday.
The Cinema for Peace Foundation, founded 2008 in Berlin, understands itself as a driving force, promoter and innovator in the field of peace-building and international understanding through the responsible use of documentaries. Cinema for Peace promotes productions that deal with global problems such as disease and violence prevention, environmental degradation, war, violation of human rights and poverty. The support unit focuses on the proportionate financing of film productions as well as spreading and making available of films through various measures and channels.
