Studio Tomás Saraceno, an international practice merging art, architecture and scientific-related fields, is currently seeking a multi-skilled Digital Communication Assistant:
Job description:
Defining the strategy, approach and content for online presence together with the artist and head of communication.
Updating social media profiles and keeping the activity constant, interesting and sharp; increasing the number of followers and general reach.
Managing the artist’s personal website and project-based web pages; making creative suggestions for improvement, together with the artist and head of communication.
Participating in research, communicating research outcomes and artistic ideas via digital tools in a persuasive and appealing way
Helping to maintain online image and video bases; distributing digital material according to set rules upon a particular request.
Creating graphic design for internal studio documents and external communication formats.
Requirements:
At least 3 years experience working and very good knowledge in the field of digital communication across different social media platforms: from instagram, public Facebook pages to cross-channel management tools.
Experience and knowledge of web mastering and CMS, especially in WordPress, but other systems are also desirable.
Good writing and composing skills; perfect style and creative thinking.
Knowledge or previous experience in art research and art journalism is highly desirable; interest in contemporary art is a must.
Flexible and committed attitude to work. Highly motivated and able to demonstrate initiative in a large team.
Good time management skills. An ability to set priorities, manage a number of tasks concurrently and work independently; resistance to stress and great communication skills.
Excellent English.
Familiarity or knowledge of Internet programming languages as HTML, Java, or others would be a strong benefit.
Very good knowledge of Adobe CS.

The Studio Tomás Saraceno is an ongoing research entity founded by the artist Tomás Saraceno and driven by his visions, shaped by the worlds of art, architecture, natural sciences, astrophysics and engineering; his floating sculptures, community projects and interactive installations propose and explore new, sustainable ways of inhabiting and sensing the environment.
