Position: DICE Conference + Festival Trainee

- Curation assistance (communication with artists and speakers, artist contracts, assistance with payments, sourcing bios/photos, etc)
- Training in spreadsheet management, database management, project management systems, Adobe Creative Suite, video and audio editing, any other general skills as requested
- Website management: sourcing text, audio clips, images, video content, uploading items and oversight of the website, and ensuring content is current (writing and uploading news items, uploading feature articles, creating and updating event pages)
- Digital/Social Media: assisting with social media activity and preparation of e-marketing materials in order to implement the festival’s digital marketing strategy
- Updating and maintaining invitation lists, sending invitations, collating responses
- Arranging and facilitating transportation and hospitality services for faculty and guest artists
- Sourcing text and images for programme and promotional materials
- Office support for the festival and conference team
- Phone and email inquiries
- Filing, cataloguing and responding to submissions
- Taking minutes of weekly meetings

Requirements: The job includes a wide range of activities that require clear communication skills, self-motivation, excellent organizational skills, & careful attention to detail. The working language of the festival is English, but German, and any other languages are a plus.

Flexible working hours. Ideal start date: 15 July.
