About Us

dBs Berlin is a unique, international, creative-production learning community based at the extraordinary Funkhaus facility, where we offer degree programmes up to master's degree level in music production, film, visual effects, and screen acting. We are a team of dedicated professionals aiming to create an active learning environment that encourages students to push their creative boundaries and excel beyond what they thought possible.

We aim to become THE international creative production and performance learning institution of choice for students from around the world. If you’re the right person for this role, you will have a significant impact on helping us get there.

WARNING! We operate within a self-management structure called Holacracy. One implication of this is that we do not use traditional job descriptions but rather a collection of smaller roles. Most people hold more than one role and these roles are constantly changing and adjusting to operational needs. Working in a Holacratic system means that leadership is spread throughout the organisation. Each role has a set of accountabilities and the person holding that role is fully responsible to the team for carrying out those accountabilities.

About the Role

The role of Academic Standards is a senior administrative position. But if you want to work in a traditional ‘command and control’ type position then working at dBs Berlin will not be for you.

However, if you are looking to become part of a purpose-driven organisation working with a friendly, hard-working team who are engaged in reinventing an educational experience fit for 21st-century creatives, then this might be exactly what you’re looking for.

This position could be anything up to a full-time position depending on the skills you have to offer. We encourage applications from adaptable and flexible individuals who are looking for new opportunities to grow! We look forward to hearing from you!
