The School of Machines, Making & Make-Believe is looking for a marketing and promotion intern to work closely with our Director in assisting with tasks associated with our 2021 Programs.
You are:
-Fluent in English
-An organized self-starter who is willing and excited to take ownership of tasks and see them through from beginning to end
-Very comfortable with social media (instagram, twitter, facebook)
-Needing to complete a mandatory internship as part of your studies or are otherwise funded (Erasmus, etc.)
-Available to start as soon as possible
We are offering an unpaid, 3-month internship, part-time (15-20 hrs/week) in Berlin. This is an exciting opportunity to become deeply involved in the School and the promotion of our programs.

The School of Machines, Making & Make-Believe is itself a uniquely curated school born in Berlin, Germany in 2014, keen on inventing one-of-a-kind hands-on learning experiences in the areas of art, technology, and human connection. Our programs often examine contemporary cultural issues, exploring the latest technologies with artists while simultaneously questioning their usage, the world around us, and ourselves. We actively encourage women and participants from underserved communities to apply. Since 2014, we have held 44 unique four-week full-time programs with 500+ participants, coming from 52 different countries and 58% women.
Our 2021 program topics include public art, machine learning, biotechnology and spatial storytelling.
