Tarisio Auctions, the leading international marketplace for fine and rare stringed instruments and bows, is searching for a freelance photographer to work with our new office in Berlin, Germany.

The ideal person for this role will possess the following:
- Strong still life photography experience
- Proficient with Capture One Pro & Adobe PhotoShop software
- Familiar with Canon DSLR cameras and Profoto studio strobes
- Native German and fluent English speaker
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, flexibility and adaptability helpful
- Attention to detail as well as time management and organizational skills
- Understanding and experience with iOs / Mac platform and Google Apps for Office
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Stage, set-up, and photograph all stringed instruments, bows, and other items that are consigned for sale through Tarisio Berlin
- Willing to commit to 2-3 full weeks (eg: 40+ hours / week) of onsite work 3 times a year for our auctions, as well as smaller ad hoc assignments in between auction deadlines
- Must be willing to be trained to follow our internally defined and documented procedures by the Head of Photography
- Help coordinate the workflow of items to be photographed for auctions with our full-time staff and other freelancer luthiers
-All photography will be done onsite in our offices and all equipment will be supplied
