LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS || SUMMER FESTIVAL:
Dates: Friday 13.08, Saturday 14.08 and Sunday 15.08.
The SUTURE Festival will open its doors in Soven (Wendland) from August 13 to 15, 2021.
For three summer days, an ancient farm will host artists from the experimental improvisation and underground music scene across Europe.
Around an old walnut tree, in the intimate atmosphere of the courtyard, live concerts, sound installations and workshops will provide an experience for the audience that unfolds and resonates. The name 'Suture' [French for seam] refers to new connections: Already in its third edition, the festival curators continue to pursue an unusual line-up, spanning contemporary music, improvised music and jazz, psychedelic folk and experimental pop as well as sound art.
VOLUNTEERING @ SUTURE FESTIVAL
We’re looking for volunteers to help us run and realise the festival.
Areas you could be working on:
FOH
HOSPITALITY - helping with the bar, preparing food on Thursday evening and Sunday evening
TECH ASSISTANCE - if you are a sound engineer student or want to join the tech team that supports the artists’ performances
ARTISTS LIAISON - helping with artists’ comfort, making sure they feel at home in Soven
DRIVING - driving team and artists from the accommodation to the festival grounds
If you have any specific skills you’d like to contribute OR if you describe yourself like Kim Kardashian ‘a person with no talent’ we will make sure you leave the Suture Festival with some sort of skill in art event management/hospitality.
We will cover for your food on-site and you’ll be able to attend over half of the shows/workshops.
Possibility to come from Friday until Sunday.
Volunteers also very much needed from Wednesday 11th August morning.
