Led by a deep engagement with the natural environment, Therme Art combines the interests of the latest scientific findings in human health, with the needs of urban design and culture.

To help achieve this, we are now looking to hire an Events Coordinator who will work with the Head of Events and Production to support the realisation of an exciting range of Therme Art events. The role will be based at the Therme Art office at Erkelenzdamm 5, Berlin, with the possibility of working remotely and occasional travel for events and business meetings.

What you’ll do, what you’ll bring:
Working on a project-guided basis, the Events Coordinator will support the successful realisation of Therme Art’s diverse programming. They will bring more than 3 years’ experience in a comparable role and demonstrated experience managing large-scale, successful events (preferably international events, exhibitions and conferences).

Your tasks:

• Support the Events and Programming Manager in planning, delivering and evaluating a high-quality program of events, launches and public relations functions to promote the organisation's profile
• Drive the coordination and delivery of all aspects of high-quality events including:
o Preparing and managing event budgets
o Assist in negotiating and overseeing contracts with partners, collaborators and vendors
o Organising catering, entertainment, audio-visual requirements and signage
o Coordinate on-site event staff; ensuring each staff member is trained and briefed in their duties
o On-site event production and pack-down
• Liaise with the Communications team to ensure the successful documentation and communication of Therme Art programming
• Track event key performance areas and identify items to work on for future events

Your qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in event planning and coordination
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, or Communications
• Demonstrated experience managing successful events (preferably international events, conferences and/or exhibitions)
• Experience with virtual event platforms
• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, hands-on attitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task, outstanding organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships, and a natural ability to work in teams
• Fluent English; German is a plus
