Hi there!

We’re a small non-profit association running Squirrel News, a free, curated app (+ newsletter) for solutions-focused news (squirrel-news.net). Three times per week we collect and present the most important and most interesting stories about new solutions to the world’s biggest problems.

At the moment, we’re looking for another volunteer editor on our English edition (most of us work as volunteers so far).

Tasks

You would be responsible for one issue per week (about 5−6 hours) and

- browse the media landscape and identify relevant - stories
- participate in our editorial calls
- rewrite headlines and teasers
- upload the editions.

Your Profile

We are looking for a native English speaker with professional experience in journalism / news editing and a broad general education.

Squirrel News is based in Berlin, but we work remotely. So, you can work from anywhere :)
