We are looking for a seasoned Account Director to join our team in Berlin. The Account Director undertakes account management responsibilities and supervises subordinate staff. Your duties will involve managing relationships with clients, guiding account personnel and executing branded creative projects at Highsnobiety+.



YOUR MISSION:

- Ownership of defined key accounts with management of the full sales cycle
- Direct clients during on-boarding process
- Act as a senior contact point for key clients
- Plan and strategize at a senior level based on client needs and insights
- Setting up goals and objectives for all subordinate staff
- Providing feedback and counsel to account staff to meet quotas/objectives
- Conduct performance evaluation using key metrics
- Ownership of full project life cycle by planning, organizing, and managing client and internal projects from beginning to end
- Create robust and profitable budgets and deliverable scopes
- Liaise across various departments to provide clear and concise timing, budgeting, and communication
- Understand the business goals and objectives of each assignment, and identify the optimal processes and procedures
- Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
- Ensuring projects are running smoothly and efficiently both internally with the team and externally with the clients
- Foresee challenges or obstacles and take action to minimize impact
- Resolve issues that pertain to the project including client conflicts, delays in approvals
- Drive, motivate and hold internal teams accountable to deliver high quality results
- Provide regular updates and escalate issues with proposed solves to the Head of Client Services
- Collaborate with different creative teams, production, sales, editorial, global project management counterparts and external partners
- Record revenues, track costs and maintain accurate profit and loss statements for individual projects within respective internal tools and documents
- Define the Statement of Work and Specifications for the requested services and support in developing required legal documents and contracts
- Prepare billing instructions to Finance for client invoicing, ensuring that final program costs are aligned with the budget. Alert Head of Client Services if program costs don’t meet budget expectations
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, case studies and proposals
- Work closely with the team to improve workflows and processes and gather learnings from previous executions
- Challenge current processes to ensure maximum efficiencies and cost savings
- Sets the standard and/or creates best practices for client delivery and innovation, training, and thought leadership
- Ensure consistency with the overall mission of achieving company goals and client’s marketing initiatives
- Ensure the company’s retention of clientele and facilitate further growth
- Assist in finding prospects and leads
- Manage contract renewals and perform contract and financial negotiations
- Understand customer requirements and needs to offer suitable solutions and generate new business
- Provide exceptional client experience and increase customer satisfaction
- Attend client meetings and travel as necessary
- Read reports of subordinates and communicate overall progress to senior management and external stakeholders


YOUR SKILLS:

- At least 8+ years experience in a client-facing role within a creative and/or media agency preferred
- Proven experience as an Account Director or similar position
- Proven track record managing full life cycle projects for an organization with multiple touch points
- Ability to adapt to frequent change and prioritize constantly shifting priorities.
- Lead by example with a strong work ethic and positive personality that inspires the best approach to internal and external communication
- Full knowledge of digital and creative production processes with experience executing digital creative campaigns
- Experience launching new initiatives and managing multiple teams
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical/quantitative skills
- Strong writing, creative thinking and presentation abilities
- Fluency in English required
- Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
- Ability to build and maintain solid internal relationships, with sufficient experience in a client-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships
-Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
Ability to work under pressure, independently and within a team setting
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Demonstrable ability to drive efficiencies through process improvements/automation
- Knowledge of digital and mobile advertising and e-commerce capabilities and implementation
- understanding of digital and content marketing
