Quandoo is looking for an experienced Head of Product Design to shape and drive our design strategy across all consumer and business facing solutions. We are looking for a strong, ambitious leader who understands the importance of impactful design and is willing to push boundaries to achieve greater outcomes for Quandoo, and our customers.
As a Head of Design at Quandoo, you will:
Understand and empathise with our customers' experience to develop a design strategy and drive a cohesive vision for the product suites across both B2C and B2B teams.
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of passionate Product and Content Designers by providing guidance to reach professional and personal goals.
Scale the team as necessary to match pace with changing business needs.
Improve processes & principles like design methods, design system management, user research, etc.
Foster a collaborative partnership with cross-disciplinary leaders from marketing, product, customer success, operations, and more.
Monitor the performance of design solutions to help drive teams towards continuous improvement.
Partner with Business Intelligence and Researchers to utilise data in your decision making process.
Evangelise the importance of quality user-experience, and human-centered design processes across the company.
Clearly communicate the overarching business goals to the design team and ensure alignment with ongoing design initiatives.
Qualifications

A comfort in adaptability, and the ability to keep motivation high in the midst of changing business strategy.
A detail-oriented personality, with a strength in supporting many initiatives at once.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience in leading user experience, vision, and strategy.
3+ years of experience in leadership as Head of Design, Design Team Lead, Design Manager or similar.
6+ years of experience working with digital products in the product design realm, having direct collaboration with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders for implementation of designs.
