We are looking for a Production Manager to join our internationally operating studio in Berlin (80% position).
Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans
• Manage contracts with clients, commissioners, and vendors
• Manage all steps of production, from development to offers to realization
• Research producers and suppliers and communicating and coordinating delivering
• Prepare budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Communication and negotiation between studio and institutions related to material requirements and budget
• Determine and define project scope and objectives, monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
• Track project costs in order to meet budget
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Qualifications:
• Degree (MA) in architecture, engineering, product design or related field, or equivalent qualifications
• 5 years of project management or related experience
• Ability to solve problems creatively
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
• Material knowledge and technical skills, excellent analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Knowledge of MS-office, experience in 2D and 3D rendering
• Credentials from former employments
• Preferably a network of producers and suppliers within the field of art, film, theater or music production
• Excellent German and/or English
• Driver’s license
