Peres Projects is seeking a Registrar/Logistics Assistant. The task covers all areas of logistics in a Berlin-based contemporary art gallery operating worldwide.
The ideal candidate has multiple years experience in the field or art logistics, is motivated, flexible and a creative problem solver. Your past experience shows a proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and to manage your own time. You have successful experience working on a team, but are also comfortable handling projects on your own and finding creative solutions to challenges. You have pronounced attentiveness to detail, good communication skills in German and English and a high level of logistical skills with profound knowledge of worldwide customs and import regulations.
qualifications include:
- several years of professional experience in galleries/institutions/museums in the field of logistics
- extensive knowledge of insurance issues as well as customs formalities and the use of art databases
- proficient use of Mac, MS Office applications, image processing programs
- Sense of responsibility, reliability and ability to work under pressure
- a committed, structured and forward-looking approach to work
- excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
