About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced academic to run the first year of our programme as part of our music school. Internally we call this role Certificate Lead referring to Level 4 of the British education system.
As Certificate Lead you will be tasked with overseeing and administering the first year of our Bachelor in Creative Audio Production & Sound Engineering (CAP). You will have the support of multiple roles within the organisation and work closely with the CAP Programme Lead (2.-3. year, BA) to ensure seamless academic progression.
The programme focuses on a mix between educating our students in artistic development as well as the opportunity to use their knowledge in the role of an audio professional working with and for others. The results we are trying to achieve are the creation of a strong and versatile portfolio addressing these two sectors. That’s why we offer workshops addressing creative processes and composition as well as topics like recording, production aesthetics, mixing, acoustics and the creation of a personal industry profile.
Below you’ll find a list of responsibilities that the Certificate Lead role carries, along with more details.
