Description: Stratosphere Games is an AAA mobile game developer based in Berlin, Germany, looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to support the development of existing and upcoming projects.

Your responsibilities:

Flexible and stable backends API Services for the Game

Design and manage cloud infrastructure

Troubleshoot the backend-related issues

Support programmers to design a new system architecture for a new feature

Requirements:

3+ years of working experience as a backend/software engineer

Experience with Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Good understanding of RESTful API and Design

Good understanding of Docker, DevOps, and CI/CD

Good understanding of managing Git branches

Good understanding of Database (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

Familiar with code review and Git branching strategy

Good to have, but not mandatory:

Experience with Jenkins Pipeline

Container Orchestration Technologies (K8c, ECS, ACS, Swarm, Rancher)

Experience with IaC (Terraform, Pulumi)

Experience with HTML, any modern Javascript Framework

Programming in C# and Unity

Gaming Industry Experience

Understanding of Software & Architecture Design, NoSQL, TDD, Refactoring, ORM, DDD
