Communications & Management Assistant
Student/Werkstudent*in, 10 hours/week

WHO WE ARE:
We are a small, diverse, and international team (French/German/Polish/Swiss/Turkish) into consulting, curating and speaking at the intersection of Digital Tech and Film, Immersive Media, Design, Music & Sound, the Arts & Culture. We advise and mentor teams on strategic planning, business & audience development. As a multi-disciplinary agency, we also investigate new developments across emerging tech, arts and culture, and design programs to turn conferences into sites of knowledge exchange and co-creation. Now, we’re looking for someone to assist us in getting work done and getting the word out about all the great projects we’re up to!
YOUR TASKS:
Communications:
- Social media management, incl. coordination of content with team, copywriting and publishing on all channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram)
- Making sure the website is running, up to date, and that SEO is optimized (Squarespace)
- Development and production of a newsletter, incl. coordination of content with team, copywriting and publishing
- Copy-writing and editing for selected projects
Management assistance and coordination:
- Project management support for all clients, incl. administrative tasks such as selected accounting or reporting
- Structuring, maintenance and expansion of databases
- Coordination of calendars and meetings, incl. setting up and communicating Zoom calls with partners & clients
- Support in office management
- Travel arrangements
YOUR PROFILE:
- You’re about to graduate in Communications / Business / Cultural Management / Innovation / Sociology / Journalism / Philosophy, or similar
- First experiences in marketing and/or communications, press and public relations, advertising, events, film production, music, arts institutions or in a startup
- Fluent use of social media, including editorial skills and a sense for design
- Outstanding communication skills in English and German, especially written - French is a huge plus!
- You are straight-forward, committed, and on top of things
- You are up-to-date and at ease with topics and vocabulary surrounding diversity and inclusion
- At ease with documents, invoices, coordinating calendars and administrative tasks that require rigorous attention
- Excel, Keynote/PowerPoint, Squarespace, Google Drive, Mailchimp, Miro, ClickUp or similar collaborative tools aren’t new to you
- Strong interest in the innovative and creative media landscape (especially in Germany, France, Switzerland, Central Europe, USA and Canada) and affinity for film, music, design, arts and culture
- Based in Berlin and available to work mainly in our office in Mitte
- Ideally able to start in April 2023.
