About the Project:
The Air Is Made of Music is an immersive art exhibition that explores the transformative power of music. This multi-disciplinary experience includes live performances and visual art, designed to transport attendees into new sensory realms, where music is felt in the air and seen in colors.
We are seeking a skilled Public Relations Specialist to help promote this exciting exhibition by reaching out to key media outlets, journalists, podcast hosts, and influencers to generate buzz and attract widespread attention.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a PR strategy to promote The Air Is Made of Music exhibition to relevant media and industry contacts.
• Proactively reach out to journalists, editors, bloggers, podcast hosts, and other key influencers in the art, music, and cultural sectors.
• Pitch engaging stories, interview opportunities, and feature ideas to increase media coverage.
• Build relationships with media contacts in both traditional outlets (newspapers, magazines) and digital platforms (blogs, podcasts, social media influencers).
• Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials as needed.
• Track media coverage, provide performance reports, and recommend strategic adjustments if necessary.
• Assist with coordinating interviews, press tours, and media events.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in PR, with a focus on art, music, and/or cultural events.
• Strong media connections, especially in the arts, music, and entertainment sectors.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills.
• Ability to craft compelling pitches and stories that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Experience in managing press campaigns for exhibitions, live events, or performances is a plus.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently while meeting deadlines.
