Oscar Loeser
Born in Potsdam in 1979, studied philosophy and accomplished his academic career at the Film University "Konrad Wolf" as a master of arts in editing. His final thesis was shown in Japan and Brazil. As a visual artist, he develops concepts for dance and theatre pieces for visualisation and their implementation on the stage. Collaboration with Riki von Falken, Patrick Scully and Martine Pisani, among others, whose plays toured internationally (USA, FR, BR, ML). The collective AVK4 develops the installation "Kapsel" (Berlin, Kuala Lumpur) and the Loopstation (VJ Tool). As a director he is creating the documentary installation "Grenzverläufe", the HIPHOP documentary "Impuls- Pottporus Chroniken", as well as "Staging the Mouth" in collaboration with the vocal artist Alex Nowitz.
As an editor he works in documentary film for Cyprien Delmas (FR) (Boy of Wars), Claudia von Alemann (D) (The Woman with the Camera) and Ebadur Rahman "Lost in Love" (BD), among others. As a cameraman he creates trailers for M. Airoudou, H.Horn, S.Linke J.Iglesias and Robozee.
