Description

I am a programme director at the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy. The ICD was founded in 1999 in the USA and is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization with headquarters in the United States, Bulgaria, Croatia, Ecuador, Slovenia, Romania and Germany.

The ICD is at the centre of a global network of independent partners in both the public and private sectors, whose collective mission is to enhance the process of international and interregional human interaction by improving the very fabric of social relations.

The ICD´s Ultimate Goal
The Institute for Cultural Diplomacy's ultimate goal is to enable, enhance and sustain inter- and intra- cultural dialogue between different cultures. This is with the view to creating constructive, sustainable relationships which will prevent misunderstanding, improve communication and cooperation and help to reduce the likelihood of socio-cultural conflicts.

The ICD hosts numerous conferences, discussion panels, and events on the various fields of cultural diplomacy as well as conducting research and recently launching a MA programme in international relations and cultural diplomacy.
