Description

I am a Berlin based musician and I am involved in music since 1998. Since I was eight years old, I have been playing different instruments, starting as a bass player in two orchestras and elementary music school for the classical guitar and continuing with a higher music school as a double bass player. At the time, I was also a member of a band called Lizards Exists, whereby we published an album in 2015. For the last three years, I have been discovering another music direction by combining modular synthesizer, string synthesizer, guitar, Tascam four track and hardware effects to create a sound library. This process was accompanied, along with independent hard-work and self-education, by an audio production course at a private academy for video games "Machina" in Zagreb, Croatia. The most important experience so far was working as a club manager and technical support in the Culture Factory (Zagreb), whereas I was given a chance to participate in sound check for over 250 bands, many of them being known worldwide (Sky and Ross from Morcheeba, Macy Gray, Calexico, Clutch etc.). Aside from the opportunity to exchange experience in music with professionals, I was also gaining a thorough knowledge about sound, equipment and mixing. I am currently using it in my freelance work as a music artist in Berlin. Influenced by the 70s psychedelic music, especially Krautrock and Berlin school of electronic music, I have sent myself on a journey to resurrect the sounds into an another authentic experience. It resulted with my first solo album "Mikrowelt", which I independently recorded, edited, mixed and mastered.
