[AADK] Aktuelle Architektur Der Kultur is an artistic network based in Berlin.
From 2006 onwards a group of artists based in Berlin began to create various projects from diverse artistic disciplines, giving way to a platform for Current Architecture of Culture (AADK) As its core nucleus has expanded, it has now become an international platform for artist- curated projects. The artistic network AADK, based in Berlin with associated spaces in Spain and Portugal, regularly presents its works – exhibitions, performances, live installations, sound installations, concerts, video-art and literature in over 25 cities across European and non- EU countries. AADK’s anti-systematic vision, in constant adjustment and formation, is permeable to the outside of its various centers, and privileges an intuitive and critical approach to the fields it decides to visit, occupy, utilize, dissect, transform or fracture. The art making is peculiar to each individual artist, but presentation settings and strategies of fruition hold a discursive and social interest.

Abraham Hurtado, originally from Murcia, Spain, and founder of the AADK platform in Berlin alongside Vânia Rovisco and Jochen Arbeit, envisions Centro Negra as an investigative space for contemporary creation, in his function as artistic director, trough the program Artists in Residence, invite local, national and international artists in order to foster mobility and exchange among each other. more info about Centro Negra www.aadk.es
