What more seductive in Marta Sklodowska’s pictures is the attention to detail and the very refined aesthetic composition of the whole. Watch the images, enjoying the nuances of mutual play of light and shade, color strength, balance items, consistency and transparency concept. You can see them clearly, that what fascinated the young artist is the unnoticed remains of everyday life, becoming so mysterious. Marta sends her lens directly in these dark places, constantly strives to extract the surface of this part of his own personality, the existence which she can even only guess:
The search for what is most essential to mankind.
The aesthetic here breaks the expectations and masks generally imposed. In this photographs the subjects look like they were returned to the land of childhood, free of boundaries, were you could be everything that you dream of.
She says: I am creating my photographs by using staging. Whilst I am doing my photographs I try to reach my subconscious.
I am looking for obsessively what is most essential and deepest in mankind.
When I direct attention to the inside, I running away from what is superficial, transient and external.
I try to discover true nature, this one which is free from restrictions which are putting on us in our everyday life.
In photography fascinates me the most fact, that it can lay bare World from the masks, is able tot show what exists behind the scenes of our daily reality.
To what I am trying to show on the photographs is the intangible part of me.
„Who sees my likeness, can not see me. My appearance is not my nature”
