In 1936 at the DELPHI-PALAST on the Berliner Kantstrasse, not far from Zoo train station, Teddy Stauffer started the Berlin era of swing music with his band, the &ldquo;Original Teddies&rdquo; and brought about the golden era of the Delphi-Palast. The Delphi Tanzorchester borrowed this historically rich name in remembrance of the big dance halls and lounges of this time. The voluminous repertoire of the Delphi Tanzorchester reaches from the roaring &lsquo;20s and &lsquo;30s, through the swing and rock&rsquo;n&rsquo;roll eras, up to the hits of the &lsquo;60s.</p>
