<p>Der Werkbund will Bewusstsein f&uuml;r Qualit&auml;t schaffen und die fach&uuml;bergreifende Qualit&auml;tsdiskussion in der Gesellschaft f&ouml;rdern. Der Deutsche Werkbund will mit Ausstellungen, Konferenzen, Publikationen und Vortr&auml;gen Einfluss nehmen. So ist er in seiner 100-j&auml;hrigen Geschichte zu einer der wichtigsten kulturellen Institutionen Deutschlands geworden und zu einer Instanz zur Verbreitung technischer Neuerungen und &auml;sthetischer Normen. Im Dialog der Disziplinen - Architektur, Kunst, Handwerk, Stadt- und Landschaftsplanung, Grafik, Design und Industrie - besteht der besondere Wert der Werkbundarbeit. </p>
