A new magazine about photography is about to be published.
"dieMotive - Zeitschrift zur Kultur der Fotografie" focuses on depicted motifs, their contexts of origin and reception as well as the process of photographing in heterogeneous ways. It is also not a "classic" photo magazine, but a print medium in which photography is being discussed on many different levels: There will be shown a photographic artwork, of course there will be texts such as essays, but also interviews, literary texts and a "technical column" in which visual and technical phenomena are explained and presented.
