Description

KHF Berlin / Künstlerhof Frohnau is an independently run artist colony on the Northern fringes of Berlin. It was founded in 1998 by artist and art manager Dieter Ruckhaberle (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dieter_Ruckhaberle) in a former hospital complex in the middle of the woods of Berlin-Reinickendorf, encompassing more than 4000 square meters of studio spaces. More than 40 artists of all disciplines permanently live and work here in several buildings, surrounded by the serenity of the forest and a nearby lake. KHF Berlin is a space for production, but opens to the public several times a year for open studio days.
