Description

The Nagual Sounds GmbH with its HQ in Brandeburg and a studio in Berlin-Mitte has developed a unique and patented technology for converting data streams into tonal music. Founded in August 2012, the company now consists of 5 full-time employees. The technology of Nagual Sounds combines the development of sensor technologies, their adaptation for practical applications and the fast computing power of today’s devices, for the creation and consumption of digital music.
Nagual Sounds’ Music Creation Software is able to transform any kind of data stream in real-time into musical structures.
For its first product Nagual Dance, they have chosen the data of a 3D camera as input for their software and turn the body into a virutal orchestra. Different virtual instruments are assigned to the arms and legs which be played through movement.
The second release will be a generative music app for smartphones which uses various sensors of a smartphone for music production.
