I was an exchange student in the USA 1997/98, living in Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio. At the end of 2003, I graduated from the University of the Amazonia with a pilot project with the Film Directors: Fabio Barreto(OSCAR) and Mojica(Coffin Joe). I have a Technical degree in Cultural Production by the Technical University of Pará in 2003. A Master in Media Production, focused in the new gadgets (smartphones / tablets), from Aalborg Universitet of Esbjerg, Denmark and FH Lippe and Höxter, in Germany 2008/2009. An unfinished course in Public Management: IFB - Brasilia National Institute. And now Master in Digital Media at the University of Bremen.
I began my professional career producing Music shows in 1994, at the age of 14 years old. Published 2 books of poetry in 1999/2000. Produced the first big Electronic Music Festival in Amazonia 1999. Soon, I got in contact with the media production and took part in various brazilian film crews: CiadeCinema, Conspiracão Filmes, Academia de Cinema, IMAGINARE Films, Ocean Movies, CaradeCão, FABRIKA, Digitallcine, CiadeCin, Mixer, Black Maria, New Strategy, LINK, TV Globo - New Celebrities , TV Cultura, SoftCine, etc. International: Discovery, FOX – NATGEO/FX, ITV - England, CCTV - USA, DR TV - Denmark, ZDF - Digital Germany. I went through Brazil and around the world to expand and learn about the different production formats. I participated in three political campaigns, the most important was President DILMA's presidential TV campaign in 2010. The clips, presenters, Lula and Dilma. Shooting all major government projects and favelas.
I made five featured films. Won the Golden Bear Award for the Berlinale Film Festival Jury, with the Spanish film "La Gran Final". Coordinating the production in Amazonia with real Indians. Some awards in Gramado Film Festival, Malaga Film Festival, New York Film Festival, etc. Six Short Films. Some Documentaries. TV Shows, Soap Operas, and lots of Publicity.
I am looking for a technical intercultural exchange. Ways to use Film and Digital Media to improve Social Development toguether with Artistic Content.
