Description

Die transmediale ist das bedeutendste Festival für Kunst und digitale Kultur in Deutschland und gehört neben der documenta u.a. zu den Leuchtturmprojekten der Kulturstiftung des Bundes. Wir blicken auf eine inzwischen 25-jährige Geschichte zurück, in der sich die Techno-Untergrund- Bewegung, die Utopien des Cyberspace bis hin zur heutigen postdigitalen Kreativkultur als spezifische Berliner Medienkultur widerspiegelt.
Als Plattform für den kritischen Dialog zwischen Kunst, Technologie und Gesellschaft widmen wir uns u.a. Themen wie Netzwerkpolitik, kollaborative Arbeitsweisen, künstlerische Forschung und Hacktivismus und arbeiten dabei in einem internationalen Team.
