To help achieve this, we are seeking an exceptional Program / Project Coordinator who will work with the Head of Events and Production and the Head of Programming to realise high-quality programs across the organisation, including events, exhibitions and special projects. The role will be based at the Therme Art office at Erkelenzdamm 5, Berlin, with the possibility of working remotely and occasional travel for events and business meetings.
What you’ll do, what you’ll bring:
Working on a project-guided basis, the Program / Project Coordinator will assist in the effective delivery of a range of Therme Art initiatives, including events, exhibitions and special projects. They will bring more than 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a cultural organisation, as well as highly-developed organisational skills, exceptional time management and multi-tasking abilities.
Your tasks:
• Support the Events and Programming Manager and the Head of Programming in planning, delivering and evaluating a high-quality projects across the organisation, including events, exhibitions and other special projects
• Assist with detailed planning of projects, including developing project schedules, budgets and timelines
• Assist in documenting project phases and creating summary reports for company management
• Assist with coordinating a range of Therme Art events, including logistics, travel itineraries, budget management, hiring and briefing vendors and event staff
• Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with staff across the organisation
• Track the performance of key projects and identify key areas of improvement to enhance organisational efficiencies
Your qualifications:
• 3+ years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably within an arts and cultural organisation
• Strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
• Highly developed stakeholder liaison skills including the ability to build and maintain productive and professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to operate Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Office 365 Teams and an ability to adapt to new and emerging technology
• Fluent English; German is a plus
