Description
We're adding a talented and experienced DACH Content Writer to our European Creative Team. We are the copywriters, designers, and project managers responsible for every piece of collateral for the European business. We partner closely with all areas of the business to bring the Wayfair brand to life across email, print, social, OOH, TV, and much more! We are conceptual thinkers who take a data driven approach to every piece of our workflow.

The ideal candidate will help us continue to create compelling, consumer-facing copy across a wide number of channels. They're also someone who is excited about playing a role in the evolution of our brand. We're a growing company and while the volume of work we're producing is high, it's important that our creative output remains consistently strong.

What You'll Do

Develop copy that speaks to our German audience while adhering to brand voice and best practices
Writing short-form copy that is crafty, concise and to the point
Work, collaborate and growth within a small team of UK and DE copywriters to create strong messaging across email, social, onsite and other marketing channels assets
Collaborate with our designers to ensure copy and visuals work together to create a strong narrative
Find and take advantage of opportunities to enhance the quality of our output through stakeholder feedback, A/B testing and emerging trends and developments in the field
Clear understanding of marketing KPIs and not afraid of reading and understanding data

What You'll Need

You're a native German speaker who is able to adapt your writing style to our different audiences
You've studied copywriting, marketing, literature or a related subject
You have at least 3 years of experience writing for a retail audience, either in-house or at an agency
You are a standout problem solver with collaborative, energetic attitude and an ability to inspire a culture of positivism
You've got a meticulous attention to detail and can adjust the way you write depending on the channel, format and audience
You're curious about our customers, what they want and how we can speak to them effectively
You are a team player and feel comfortable closely collaborating and partnering up with designers and other writers (both UK and German)
You are able to transcreate English content into German in high quality, that matches and aligns with our TOV
You know how to pitch your ideas to stakeholders and understand the power of good communication
You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and you're able to articulate your ideas
You've got a strong work ethic and keep a positive attitude, even under pressure
