Studio Tomás Saraceno, an international practice merging art, architecture, and scientific-related fields, is currently seeking a Photographer with photographic and postproduction skills to join the internationally renowned artist’s team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Create photographs of new artworks and production processes, documentation of studio activities
• Postproduction (i.e. color corrections)
• Management of image archive: ensure items are labeled accurately and the archive is maintained in good order
• Maintain internal records including databases relating to image archive for internal studio access
• Process requests for retrieval, distribution, and collection of images
• Ensure all retrievals and image requests are carried out accurately
• Liaison with the editorial team regarding captions and credit lines
About You
• Excellent demonstrable graphic design and computer skills, with proficient knowledge of Adobe Suit Package: Lightroom, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
• Good working knowledge of video editing software, namely Adobe Premier is a plus
• Good working knowledge of Canon cameras
• Experience and interest in studio lighting and setups
• Excellent English with oral and written communication skills
• Flexible and committed attitude to work. Highly motivated and able to demonstrate initiative in a large team
• Good time management skills. An ability to set priorities, manage a number of tasks concurrently and work independently
• Knowledge of or previous experience in art databases is a plus
• Demonstrable interest in art and architecture

The Studio Tomás Saraceno is an ongoing research entity founded by the artist Tomás Saraceno and driven by his visions, shaped by the worlds of art, architecture, natural sciences, astrophysics, and engineering; his floating sculptures, community projects, and interactive installations propose and explore new, sustainable ways of inhabiting and sensing the environment.
