Position: Extras required for climate action dance piece (unpaid)

Description: Hello creatives!

I am choreographing a dance piece for 350.org’s upcoming day of action called “Power Up!” on Saturday, December 9th - In aims to help challenge fossil fuel companies from hoarding massive profits that could be invested into renewable energy, all the while driving our climate crisis forward knowingly (for many many years)!

The piece is fairly simple as the budget is low and I have 2 dancers confirmed to help tell the story. But we could really use some extra bodies. Creatives or dancer types with theatrical experience would be ideal. There won't be any elements of complex movement or choreogrpahy for our extras, just need some more people to join us towards the end of the piece to showcase power in numbers and coming together to use our voices to better the planet.

This is not paid, but it is for a good cause and you would be helping us with a very important project. Artivism matters!

The event will take place in the afternoon/early evening of December 9th (postponed from our original date of Nov. 4) with one rehearsal to block everything out before then TBD.

If you or anyone you know would like to be a part of this it would be greatly appreciated as 350 is a non-profit climate organization and our budget is very limited, but we would love to make this a special statement that will be documented and broadcast widely.
