Description: Seeking part-time ART EDUCATORS, STORY-TELLERS, EXPLORERS!

Is it too much for you to sit at the computer all day long? Do you love exploring your city and getting to know it little by little? Are you always looking for the next art spot? Do you love communicating and connecting with people face to face?

Our tours are niche and focused on contemporary art in Berlin: we visit high—end contemporary art galleries, project spaces, non-profit spaces and on occasion, artist studios. We also regularly receive requests for museum tours, so knowledge of institutions such as Neue Nationalgalerie, Hamburger Bahnhof, Gropius-Bau, Berlinische Galerie, Gemäldegalerie, Museum für Fotografie, C/O, KINDL, and Palais Populaire is compulsory.

We lead most of our tours in English, but are open to German, Spanish, French, Italian, Ukranian, Russian, and all other language experts (as long as we can communicate in German or English within the team).

Qualifications:

BA/MFA in Art History
Alternatively, anthropology, communication, media studies, architecture, design - but interests in, and expansive knowledge of Berlin's contemporary art scene.

A passion for storytelling and for talking about your favourite current art exhibitions

A habit of doing diligent research and connecting various themes and topics into one narrative

Substantial knowledge of Berlin’s topography as well as its art scene.

A love for books, design, architecture

Compensation: Based on experience; 60% of tour price.

Days: Up to 4x per month.
