Position: Acquisitions & Market Strategy Internship

Description: POSITION

- Receive, record and monitor projects submitted to the company, search for projects suited to the editorial line
- Maintain and optimize the project database, lead the weekly acquisition meeting
- Prepare summary reading sheets (synopsis, analysis of potential, biography of talents).
- Actively follow the selections of major international festivals (films, projects in development).
- Analyze comparable seller and distributor line-ups and acquisition strategies, weekly box office analysis.
- Identify new distribution trends, emerging talents (directors, screenwriters) and relevant technological developments.
- Participate in the preparation of film markets (research, making appointments).
- Assist in coordinating marketing elements for films in the acquisition phase.

PROFILE

- Exceptionally organized and rigorous (this is essential!)
- Passion for international auteur cinema and new voices
- Strong analytical and summarizing skills
- Proactive, autonomous and comfortable in a small, fast-paced team
- Fluent English is a must – good French required – German is a plus
- Master’s student in film, media, business, or cultural management
